Lindy Wimbish Parker, 83, of 925 S Lakeside Drive, Four Oaks, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, November 7th at Clinton City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Beasley officiating. 

Lindy, born December 18, 1939 in Guilford County, was the daughter of the late Robert Jackson Wimbish and Mary Elizabeth Hefner Wimbish.  She was the owner and operator of Parker Florist and Parker Properties in Clinton prior to her retirement.  Lindy was a member of First Methodist Church of Clinton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Jacqueline Parker and grandson, Jackson Wimbish Parker.

Survivors include: sons, Joseph “Jep” E. Parker, II and wife Mary King Parker of Clinton, NC and Robert Wimbish Parker and wife Rhonda Howard Parker and grandson Spencer Howard Parker; sister, Patti Wimbish Stallings and husband Millard Stallings; and nieces, Betsy Stallings Pippin and Amy Stallings Keith all of Smithfield.
