Linda Faye McCullen Wright, 79, of 3554 Roseboro Hwy, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Southwood Nursing Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, September 3rd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her son, Brian, at 4725 Garland Hwy., Clinton.

Linda, born February 8, 1945 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Rev. David McCullen and Jessie Crumpler McCullen.  She worked as a teller in the banking industry and later retired from Clinton Medical Clinic.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. F. Wright and sister Edna M. Sadler.

Survivors include: sons, David Wright (Billie Jo McLamb), Brian Wright and Jeffrey Wright (Amber Sampson); grandchildren, Austin and Hunter Wright; and sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Hobbs (Willie) and Linda Wright Whitehurst.
