Lena Strickland Bradshaw Taylor, 87, formerly of Sampson County, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Carrolton of Dunn.
Memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, January 16th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Don Davis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her son Jimmy, at 80 Rosemary Lane, Clinton.
Lena, born August 18, 1936 in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late James Isaac Strickland and Spicey Elizabeth Barnette Strickland. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and served as secretary for Holland, Poole and Holland, Attorneys. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Vitas Lynwood Bradshaw and Frank Isaac Taylor.
Survivors include; sons, Jimmy Bradshaw and wife Margie, Roger Bradshaw and wife Paula; daughters, Lee Ann B. Yourko and Lynn Fields and husband Doug; grandchildren, Marcie Bradshaw Glisson and husband Chris, Brian Bradshaw (fiancé Ivey), Patrick Bradshaw, Brinkley Yourko, Leah Yourko and Bevyn Yourko.
