Lawrence “Larry” Benedict Bowden III, 69, passed away at his home in Clinton on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

A Graveside Service for Larry will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 10 AM, at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. 

Larry was born in Sampson County on July 17, 1956, to the late Lawrence Benedict Bowden Jr. and Nancy Lou Wiggins Shirley.  He was preceded by his son, Adam Bowden.  Larry was a maintenance worker in the housing industry.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, James Bowden (Nicci), Will Bowden, Sarah Bowden and Amanda Ladner, his grandchildren, Adison Bowden, Brennan, Ethea, Ethan, Scarlett, Levi, Jaxon, Alton & Kage and his Special buddy, Blitz.
