Mr. Larry Naylor, 77, of 411 Beaver Dam Dr., Clinton, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30th, at Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Chubby Reiber officiating. The family will receive friends at the home and following the service at the cemetery.

Larry, a native of Sampson County, was the son of the late Dee Vonnie Naylor and Annie Bert Grantham Naylor. He was a building contractor and also was a contract turkey grower for Prestage Farms. Larry was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife, Gail Thornton Naylor and two children: Melanie N. Matthis and husband Scott, Jeffery Naylor and wife Christi, grandchildren: Grant Naylor and friend Hayleigh Chadwick, Blair N. Kornegay and husband Austin, Chasen Matthis and wife Katherine and Colbey Matthis, and great-grandchild to be, Thomas Reid Matthis.
