Larry Dail Jackson

Mr. Larry Dail Jackson, 76, of 45 HB Lewis Rd passed away at his home on, Monday, October 2, 2023 with his loving family at his side.

VISITATION:  10 AM - 10:45 AM, Saturday, October 7th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home to be followed by a private graveside service.

Larry was born on June 11, 1947 to the late Clemont and Dorcas King Jackson of Faison, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Dail Jackson, daughter, Robin Elizabeth Jackson, sisters, Doris Holloman, Audrey Thornton and brother, Carol Jackson, father-in-law, Everette Norris, mother-in-law, Nettie Norris, nephew, Phillip Jackson, and niece, Amy Thornton.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brenda Norris Jackson of 54 years, sister-in-law and husband, Pat and Frank Quinata, and his bestest playmate and niece, Gussie Quinata and her dog, Kiku, who he loved to call “Bobo” and pet nonstop. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Whitfield, sister-in-law, Jean Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry graduated from Campbell University in 1969 with a BS in Business. Later in life he went back to school to pursue nursing and graduated from James Sprunt Community College with and ADN in nursing.

His loves besides his family, were flying, farming, fishing, and especially his dog, Cinnamon.

The family would like to thank Pat, Frank, and Gussie Quinata, Stacy and June Thigpen, Lorraine Hemingway and Chevis Boykin for their love and support.
