Kim Lee Henry
April 13, 1957 – March 31, 2021
Goldsboro, North Carolina – Kim Henry, 63, of Goldsboro, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tammy Henry; daughter Ashley Britt and husband Adam Britt of Newton Grove; daughter Megan Henry of Wilmington; grandchildren Paige Britt, Harper Britt, and Alexander Britt; his mother, Sheila Henry of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; and brother, Barry Henry of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and his children. He is preceded in death by his father, William Henry, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
A longtime resident of Newton Grove, Kim was an active member of the community, devoting much of his time to the Goshen United Methodist Church youth group, local T-Ball team, and Hobbton High School Band Boosters.
In his later years, he appreciated slowing down and spending time with his 3 grandchildren, taking trips to see family in West Virginia, and traveling with his wife. He will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father, and outstanding “Ampa”.
A graveside service will be held 10am, Monday, April 5, 2021 in Springvale Cemetery, (Clinton, City Cemetery) Clinton, NC. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
