Kenneth Ray Langston, 77, of 460 Fox Run Lane, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2 PM at the Matthis Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Testerman, officiating.

Kenneth, born March 8, 1949 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Lindy Langston and Ellen Monk Langston Godwin.  He retired from Century Link and was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gail Langston. 

Survivors include: sons, Chris Langston and wife Patricia and Brian Langston and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Emily Langston, Megan Rutledge (David), Garrett Peterson, MacKenzie Peterson and Skylin Luna; great-grandchildren, Brody Johnston, Gauge Rutledge, Jaxton Langston, Avery Rutledge, Jace Langston, Maverick Luna and Kylo Bell; and sister, Diane Langston.
