Joshua Ray Runyon, 37, of 913 N Pine St., passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, March 17th at Evergreen Baptist Church, 63 E Magnolia Lisbon Road, Rose Hill, NC, with Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rabon Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Thursday, March 16th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home at and other times at the home.

Joshua, born July 7, 1985 in Logan, WV, was the son of Glenna Sue Young Norris and John Kennedy Runyon.  He was a farm manager for Rabon Farms and attended Evergreen Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Betty and Glenn Young and Mary May.

Survivors include: mother, Glenna Sue Young Norris and husband Mike Rabon; father, John Kennedy Runyon and wife Stacie; children, Joshua Ray Runyon, II, Haley Runyon, Ivy Runyon and Conne r Runyon; sister, Betty Hernandez; and girlfriend, Angela Naylor and his step-children, Noah and Breionna Naylor.
