John David “J. D.” Williamson, 87, of 116 E. Station Street, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A private service will be held.

J. D, born January 11, 1935 in Wayne County, was the son of the late Charles Brantly Williamson and Nannie Grady Williamson. He was an electrician with the Wayne County School System.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Betty Brown Williamson, and children Carolyn W. Bradshaw and husband Jerry and Teresa W. Wise and husband Gary.
