John George “Jack” Hart, 81, of 101 Ellis Street, Clinton, NC passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, peacefully at home with family and his beloved dog Coco by his side.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 23rd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Donnie Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Tuesday, April 22nd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Jack, born October 14, 1943, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was the son of the late Alfred Gilbert Hart and Anna Kascur Hart. He served in the United States Airforce from 1961 – 1965 and began working with his father, brothers and sister for the family business, Hart Electronics, in Allentown, PA. In 1981 he moved his family to North Carolina where he began working in the financial industry, which would carry him through most of his life, until retirement in 2013. He was preceded in death by son-in-law Christopher Douglas Raynor (Debbie), granddaughter Savannah Brooke Raynor, and brother Dale Alfred Hart.

Survivors include: his wife Linda and partner of 31 years; brothers Al (JoAnn) and Greg (Kelly), and sister Michele (Jim); children Deborah Hart Parrish (Al) and John Hart (Angie); grandchildren Jessica Wall (Chris) and Ethan Parrish; great-grandchildren Emilia Wall, Owen Wall, and Milo Wall; bonus children John Pope, Kristy Tew (John), and Rebekah Brewington (Carlton); grandchildren Bartley Spell (Evie), Bradley King (Halie), Drae Pope, Samantha Brewington, John Robert Tew, C J Brewington, Camden Tew, Kylie Brewington, Sadie Elizabeth Tew, and Sierra Brewington; great-grandson Benjamin Pope; and extended family and friends.
