Joan Anne Westbrook was the oldest daughter of Anna Keicher Sharpe and Milton Christopher Sharpe-born on October 8th, 1933 in Buffalo, New York. She was married to the late James Eujerl Westbrook for 67 years. They lived between Buffalo NY and Clinton NC, until retiring to Clinton in 1990. Joan loved her family more than anything and made them the center of her world, her entire life. She is known and remembered for her famous chocolate chip cookies and card skills. She is preceded in death by her husband, two children (Catherine Ball and Christopher Westbrook), and three siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Dalton (Bill) and Michelle Hudgins (Doug); grandchildren Carrie Brice (Jason), Edward McVea, Dennis Packard (Robin), Donald Packard, Kyle Westbrook, David Zadon, Rebecca Helms, Christopher Hoffman (Mandy), Michael Nahrebeski (Miranda), Anna Isham, Kathryn Ball, Zachary Dennis, and Bobby Lee; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
