Jo Ann Lee Howard, 85, formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Terra Bella Assisted Living in Raleigh.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM, Monday, September 9th at Clinton City Cemetery with Rev. Matt Seals officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the graveside.

Jo Ann was born December 7, 1938 in Johnston County to the late William Dayton Lee and Varena Wood Lee.  She retired with 35 years’ service as a teacher in the Clinton City School system and was a member of Grace Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Leonard Howard and grandson Jackson Parker.

Survivors include; daughter, Rhonda Howard Parker and husband Robbie; son, Kevin Howard and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Spencer Parker, Kaleb Howard and Kolby Howard; and siblings, Agnes Lee Farthing, Barbara Ann Bass and Cathy Johnson
