Jimmy Wesley Ballance, 71, of 1865 Moltonville Road, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Rex Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, February 9th, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lynn Bullock and Rev. Clay Carter officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and at other times at the home of his daughter, Mallory DeLuca, at 2839 Rowan Road, Clinton.

Jimmy born June 30, 1953 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Herbert Wesley Ballance and Helen Clifton Ballance.  He farmed and worked with Prestage Farm as a Nursery Manager.  He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. 

Survivors include: wife, Barbara Jean Raynor Ballance; daughters, Kelly Stancil and husband Eric and Mallory DeLuca and husband J. B.; grandchildren, Connor Stancil, John Luke DeLuca and Carson DeLuca; mother, Helen Ballance; and brother, Hardy Ballance and wife Angie. 

Memorials may be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 3949 Taylors Bridge Hwy, Clinton, NC  28328.
