Jarod Michael Parker, 24, of 1526 Old Raleigh Road, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, January 28th at Clinton Community Church with Rev. Jonathan Hill, Rev. Dwayne Dunning and Rev. Mark Fields officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service and at other times at the home.

Jarod, born December 2, 1999 in Cumberland County, was the son of Edward Leon Parker, Jr. and Regina Wilson Parker.  He was a master’s student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a part-time lifeguard at the YMCA.  He was a member of Clinton Community Church.  Jarod was preceded in death by his grandmothers Jacklyn Wilson and Patsy Dyson.

Survivors include; parents, Eddie and Regina Parker; siblings, Justin Parker, Jacklyn Byrd and husband Joshua, Jessica Parker and Julian Wilkins; grandfather, George E. Wilson and wife Nadine; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
