Jared Anthony Hall Obituary

Mr. Jared Anthony Hall, 27, passed away at his home in Clinton, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, surrounded by some of his loving family & friends.
Jared was born at New Hanover Regional Medical Center on July 17, 1998 to parents, Jodi (Dunaway) & Julian “Keith” Hall.
Jared was a 2016 graduate of Clinton High School and earned his degree at the NC State Ag Institute in 2019. He then went to work for Prestage Farms of Clinton, NC until his battle with melanoma cancer metastasis to brain began in December of 2023.
Jared was one with nature. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, especially if it included friends and family. He spent many hours exploring fields, streams, and swamp lands to find treasured hunting and fishing spots. He found much joy in being with others for these adventures.
Jared was a member of The Vine Fellowship of Clinton. His church, family, friends, and community surrounded him with the most adoring love and compassion through his life, especially in the most recent 18 months. No words or actions can express our gratitude for all the support and prayers.
Jared left this earth knowing Jesus and the perfect life awaiting him through faith in God’s grace and mercy. In recent years, Jared testified of this truth to those around him because he knew that the things of this earth are all vanity. Now he rests in the perfect, peaceful, pain-free life in the arms of Jesus.
Jared is survived by his parents, Jodi and Keith and his brothers, Lane (Meagan) and Trace. Jared is also survived by grandparents, Jim and Jan Dunaway and William Hall, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willa Jean (Cain) and John M. Townsend.

2 Timothy 4: 1-8
“I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”

A visitation will be held from 6 PM – 8 PM, Wednesday, July 30th at the Vine Fellowship.  A funeral will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, July 31st at The Vine Fellowship with Rev. Matt Barefoot officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the Clinton City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Vine Fellowship, 1719 Southeast Boulevard, Clinton, NC  28328.
