James Anthony Kinlaw

Mr. James Anthony Kinlaw, 83, of 5840 Bonnetsville Rd. passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4th, at White Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

James, born in Cumberland Co. was the son of the late Hurley Jennings Kinlaw and Dicy Omeda Faircloth Kinlaw. He was married to the late Carolyn Kinlaw in addition he was predeceased by brothers Alton and Marvin Kinlaw . Mr. Kinlaw was formerly the Circulation Manager with the Sampson Independent. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and a veteran of the Army National Guard.

James is survived by: two daughters Nancy Kinlaw Fryar and husband Gary, Kelly Kinlaw; grandchildren: Garrison and Raelyn Fryar and several nieces and nephews.
