James Earl Daw, 64, of 61 Hudson Street, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home.

James, born in 1956 in Wayne County, was the son of the late James Madison Daw.  He worked in the construction business for himself. 

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 28th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Ray Howard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.

Survivors include: fiancé, Renita Sasser; children, April Best (Kenneth), Lynwood Daw (Danielle), Philip Daw (Amber), Heather Jernigan (Jarrett), Cherish Smith (Terry),  Ashley Hummel (Joshua) and Nicole Sasser; mother, Juanita Wallace Pettaway; one brother; one sister; and  sixteen grandchildren, Madison Jernigan, Lucas Daw, Logan Best, Mason Jernigan, Dawson Smith, Drake Smith, Libbie Best, Davis Smith, Matthew Jernigan, Paxton Daw, Wesley Johnson, Hailey Smith, Layla Hummel, Sadie Daw, Savannah Daw and Patrick Blagg, Jr.
