James Alfred Brewington
Born on March 2, 1945 in Clinton NC to the late Pearlie and Paul Brewington. James attended school at Eastern Carolina Indian School. At an early age he was married to Carolyn and three girls were born from that bond. In his adult life he worked at Dunn Meat Packing, Burlington Industries, and Swift of Erwin as a CDL driver. When his children were growing up he taught them how to ride motorcycles, 4-wheelers and how to swim. He was at major events such as taking his kids to get their driver’s license, attending every graduation, and his daughter’s marriages. James loved to ride motorcycles. He especially loved sneaking up on his family for visits whether they were home or not. He loved loaded baked potatoes, milkshakes and Wendy’s frosty. Once he learned how to do group text messages, he would text his daughters every morning. He enjoyed taking pictures and framing them on lacquered wood. James was a very private man. He was never a church going man but let it be known to his family that Jesus Christ was his savior and that he knew if anything happened he would be ok.
James married his wife Carrie on July 09, 1983 and out of that precious bond came another daughter. James was the proud father of all his daughters: Bridget, Rose, Michelle and Carrondra.
