James “Allen” Jacobs, 58, of Seven Eagles, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018, peacefully at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 4 P.M., Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Holly Grove Holiness Church with Pastor Mark Fields and Rev. Randy Simmons officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Allen was born in 1959 in Sampson County and was the son of the late Red Jacobs and Donnie Jacobs.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Nathan Jacobs.  He was a former overseer of Red Jacobs Farms and rental property.  Allen was a faithful giver to the house of God and dearly loved by his family.

Survivors include; siblings, Bobby Jacobs of Fayetteville, Glenda Fields of Clinton, Wilma Goins of Fayetteville, Geneva Chance of Dunn, Dell Strickland of Fayetteville, Vonda Floyd of Hope Mills and Kay Carter of Hope Mills.
