Clinton, NC Mrs. Ilena Fern Preddy Ezzell, 77, of 2365 Ezzell Rd., passed away Friday, February 24, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 28, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Carter officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service 1-2:00 P.M. and other times at the home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Epworth Methodist Church Cemetery.

Ilena, born in Sampson Co., was the daughter of the late Henry Albert Preddy and Ethel Ilor Spell Preddy. She was the widow of Manley Pigford Ezzell. Ilena was a Sales Manager with Vallari Foods and was a member of Epworth Methodist Church.

Surviving are: her daughter, Lynn Ezzell Kersey (Glenn), grandson, Gavin Glenn Kersey, great-grandson, Landen Gavin Kersey, brother, Mack Donald Preddy (Louise), sisters: Faye Melvin, and Syliva Jean Preddy Wilson (Bobby), several nieces and nephews, best friend, Elizabeth Thornton (Wade), special friends Juan and Belkey Perez and family and all of her Villari Foods Family.
