Gerald Franklin Price, 81, of Clinton, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at Sentara Hospital in Elizabeth City, NC.

Graveside service will be held 1 PM, Friday, January 5th   with Rev. Ray Carter officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service adjacent to the cemetery.

Gerald, born October 29, 1942 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Earl Jackson Price and Laura Merada Blanton Price.  He was a truck driver and worked with Royster for years.  He was an accomplished billard player. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and an US Army Veteran.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Flynn Price, son Tim Tucker, brothers Marvin Price, Jack Price and John Price, and sister Joyce Thomas.

Survivors include; son, James Tucker and wife Martha of Kitty Hawk; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Price; and sisters, Faye Price Pope and Abigail Alford.
