Geneva Jacobs Chance, 76, of Dunn, NC passed away on June 22, 2025, at the home of her niece in Fayetteville, NC, with her family by her side. 

There will be a private service for Geneva with Rev. Mark Fields and James Jones officiating.  Geneva was employed with the Morganite Corporation in Dunn for 34 years and progressed to the Quality Control Department. 

Geneva was born in Sampson County, NC on February 28, 1949, to the late James Readich Jacobs and Donnie Mae Jones Jacobs.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald C. Chance and brothers, James Nathan Jacobs and James Allen Jacobs.

She is survived by her siblings: Bobby C. Jacobs (Cheryl), Glenda Fields (Earl), Wilma Goins (Clarence), Dell Strickland (Roscoe), Vonda Floyd (the late Eugene) and Kay Carter (Mitchell) and a sister-in-law, Randa Jacobs, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
