Evelyn Paulette King, 78, of 1245 Rowan Road, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at her home.

Graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, August 30th at Grandview Memorial Garden with Rev. Sam Lloyd officiating.  Entombment will follow at the gravesite.  The family will receive friends at the grave following the service and at other times at the home of her son, Evan, at 1977 N McCullen Road, Faison, NC.

Paulette, born November 30, 1942 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Joe Luke Robinson and Delores Hobbs Robinson.  She worked with BBT Bank formerly, East Coast Federal and Clinton Savings and Loan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Emerson “C. E.” King, daughter Carlette King Lewis and siblings Edna Fryar, Linwood Robinson and Joe Robinson.

Survivors include her son Evan King and wife Jennifer, and grandchildren Zaylea King, Brody King and Kaitlyn Lewis.
