Elma Sutton Brewer Miller, 85, of 102 Kay Road, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Rex Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the Pastor Cameron Dunn and Reverend Dennis Bazemore officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden.

Elma, born in 1933 in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late Johnnie Sutton and Pearl McCullen Sutton.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Horace (Jack) Brewer and Donald Miller; step-child, Donald Miller, Jr; and siblings, Marvin Sutton, Vurlon Thornton, Boyd Sutton and Franklin Sutton.  She worked at The Children’s Shop and was a homemaker.  She was a member of  Grove Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include: children, Dwight Brewer (Bonnie) of Surf City, Diane Brewer Bull (Timothy) of Talbott, TN, Jeannie Brewer Faulk (Bill) of Salemburg; stepchildren, Ricky Miller (Liz) of Dunn; very faithful and loyal companion, Tom Womack of Angier; grandchildren, Brandon Brewer (Kim) of Clayton, Adam Brewer of Clinton, Mandy Brashear, of Talbott, TN, Ryan Pope (Anna) of Ottawa, Canada, Blakely Faulk of Wilmington, Trace Faulk of Raleigh; step-grandchildren, Matt Miller of Dunn, Mary Beth Pearson (Brandon) of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Carley Brewer of Clayton, Nicholas Brewer of Clayton, Sienna Pope, of Ottawa, Canada, Alexi Pope, of Ottawa, Canada; step-greatgrandchildren, Hayden Miller, Cora Pearson and Addie Pearson.
