Mrs. Doris Ellen Ivey Tart, 86, of the Harrells Community, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The family will receive friends 10-11 A.M Tuesday, September 6th, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. in the church sanctuary with President Scott Mease and Elder Dan Pflaume officiating. Interment will follow the service in Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Doris, born in Wayne County, was the daughter of the late Pulaski Andrew Ivey and Annie Caonia Draughon Ivey. She was also preceded in death by her husband James E Tart and a son James (Jimmy) E. Tart, Jr. and five sisters, one brother, one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild. Doris was co-owner with her husband of the Country Store in Harrells and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
