Delores "Gail" Smith (McMillan) Honeycutt

Mrs. Delores Gail Smith Honeycutt, 84, of 1267 Honeycutt Rd. Clinton, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at her home.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.  at Old Mill Church of God with Rev. Donnie Honeycutt and Rev. Jerry Waters officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, 4693 Beaver Dam Church Rd. Roseboro, NC. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 the day of the service at the church and other times at the home.

Gail was born in Cumberland Co. to the late Johnny McMillan and Pearl Robinson McMillan. She was a homemaker, and a youth leader at Old Mill Church of God and Midway Baptist in Columbus, NC. She was preceded in death by husbands Jerry Smith and Rev. J.T. Honeycutt and son Jerry Smith and Jimmy Honeycutt, a brother Marty McMillan and sisters Lavon McMillan and Judy Lucas.

Gail is survived by: a daughter Dorothy Honeycutt; son Bobby Smith and wife Vicki, grandchildren: Rev. Donnie Honeycutt and wife Rhiannon, Jessica Honeycutt, Chris Smith and wife Toshia, Lorraine Hensley and husband Adam, Jaylan Autry and husband Adam, Jodi Lanford and husband Matt, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 6 sisters, 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Old Mill Church of God building fund at 190 Williams Lake Rd. Roseboro, NC 28382.
