Daisy Deloise Vernon Herring, 82, of 1296 Basstown Road, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Rex Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, December 3rd at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan, Rev. Jeffrey Barber and Mark McPherson officiating.  Interment will follow in Clinton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Daisy born July 28, 1942 in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late Leonard Vernon and Pauline Knowles Vernon.  She was a pharmacy assistant and worked for years at Hamilton Beach.  Daisy was a member of Bethany PFWB Church.

She is survived by: husband, Bobby Wendell Herring, Sr.; son, Bobby Herring, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Smith; grandchildren, Dylan Herring, Pandora Herring, Tiffany Cannady, Brandy Williams and Billie Barber; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Clifton Vernon; and sisters, Eloise Kleinert and Mary Vernon.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethany PFWB Church, 1068 Rackley Road, Clinton, NC  28328.
