Clyde Douglas Augustus, 84, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Rex Hospital.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Clyde was born October 22, 1938 in New York to the late Clyde E. Augustus and Marie Mattraw Augustus. He was a toolmaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Faye Britt Augustus.
Survivors include: sons, Kerry Augustus (wife Beth) of Watertown, NY, Marc Augustus (Cecilia) of Geneva, NY, Peter Augustus of Watertown, NY, and James Augustus, of Clay NY, daughter, Amy Sarp and husband David of Clinton; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
