Clara Jewel Faircloth Packer, 86, of 1544 Fleet Cooper Road, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital.

Graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, July 11th at Clinton City Cemetery with Rev. John Hobbs officiating. 

Clara, born September 28, 1937 in Sampson County was the daughter of the late Perry Thomas Faircloth and Maggie Owens Faircloth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Dennis Packer.  She was a beautician and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.

Survivors include: children, Terry Packer (Kelly Kinlaw Packer) , William C. Packer (Karen), and Kelly C. Seagle (James); grandchildren, Elizabeth Packer, Stephanie Register, Ashley Packer, Adam Seagle and Rachel Seagle; great-grandchildren, Hannah Register and Nolan Register; and sister, Betty Jean Tyndall (Jessie).
