Mrs. Clara Jackson Britt, 88, passed away May 12, 2020 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. 

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Lofton “Dock” Britt, parents, Roy Jackson and Irene Jackson and siblings, Jimmy Jackson and Myrtle Giddens.

A graveside service will be held at Bradshaw Cemetery in Newton Grove on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 11 AM, with Pastor Jim Skinner officiating.

Left to cherish her memory are; loving children, Samuel Lofton Britt, Charles David Britt and wife Lynn, Wilma Dean Britt and Walter Rhodes, and Abigail Britt Raynor and husband Dennis; grandchildren, Deanna Summerlin Batten, Tara Britt Jackson, Samuel Allen Britt, Brooke Britt Crumpler, Adam Lischer Raynor, Lewis Oates and Bradley Giddens; ten Great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Lou Froehlich, brothers, Shelton Jackson and Thurston Jackson; and fiancé, Marvin Britt and her honorary grandchild, Morgan Thornton.

Special thanks to the staff at Mary Gran Nursing Center for all their care and compassion shown during Mrs. Britt’s stay.
