Cindy Louise Key, 56, of 150 Harpers Glen, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend David Page officiating.    The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home at other times at her home.

Cindy, born in 1962 in New York, was the daughter of the late Milford Mosher and Lena Marie Chrisman Mosher.  She was a former prison guard and a Sunday school teacher.  She attended New Life Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a special nephew, Sidney Eleby Briggs.

Survivors include; husband, David Strickland; son, Steve Key, Jr.; daughter, Christy Phipps and husband John; step-daughter, Cassie McCullen; grandchildren, Gage Key, Caleb Key and Sawyer Graceson

 Phipps; sisters, Debbie Briggs and husband Ed and Ruth Mosher; brothers, Bud Mosher, John Mosher and Kristopher Lizoette and wife Eliza; and several nieces and nephews.
