Cary Earl “Bang” Dudley, age 92 of Stedman, North Carolina went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2025.  Bang was born on January 15, 1933 to Cary Judson Dudley and Laura Parker Dudley in Sampson County.  He is survived by his son Gary Earl Dudley and wife Melissa Godwin Dudley and his two grandchildren, Katie and Lillie Dudley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Bang is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Muriel D. Price, Lela D. McLemore, Eva D. Peterson, Lula D. Peterson, Lora D. Cobb, and Gloria D. Hudson; and brothers: John Parker and Carl James “Do-Right” Dudley.

Bang was retired from the textile industry where he worked for over 30 years in Cumberland County.  He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, keeping his cars in immaculate condition, feeding hummingbirds, and spending time with his cat Daisy.

Visitation will be on February 1, 2025 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home at 118 Fayetteville Street, Clinton, NC 28328 starting at 1:00pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 pm in the chapel.  There will not be a graveside service.
