Carol Sue (Rackley) Jackson, 77, of 370 Pee Wee Road, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Grandview Memorial Garden with Pastor Robert Holland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

Mrs. Jackson, born October 16, 1943 in Clinton, was the daughter of the late Norman “Pee Wee” Vann Rackley and Thelma Rivers (Gainey) Rackley. She was a loving, nurturing and supportive daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She spent her life doing what she loved - being a homemaker, adoring her many pets, tending her various flower and vegetable gardens, cheering on the Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers, shopping and maintaining her extensive pocketbook, pen and jewelry collection.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Norman Rackley, and brother-in-law, Ernest Marion Odum. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Charles Atlas Jackson; children, Charles Anthony Jackson and his wife (Jo) and Wendy Sue (Jackson) Jordan and her husband (Wesley); sister, Grace (Rackley) Odum; brother, John Wayne “J.W.” Rackley and his wife (Linda); four grandchildren, Ashley Nicole (Jackson) Bolduc and her husband (Jeremy), Megan Ann (Jackson) Benson and her husband (Wesley), Travis Bryan Jordan, and Heather Paige Jordan; six great-grandchildren, Brayden Alexander Jackson, Zackary Atlas James Benson, Kayleigh Ann Benson, Brinly Gabrielle Bolduc, Maddilyn Elise Benson, and Jackson David Bolduc; and numerous nephews and nieces.
