Brenda Gail McLemore, 76, of 767 Southwood Drive, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her home.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, July 11th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Flowers officiating.  Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately after the interment and at other times at the home.

Brenda, born in Sampson County on August 20, 1945 was the daughter of the late Clifton Underwood and Vivy Best Underwood.  She was a long-time employee of the Clinton Pizza Hut.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Dale McLemore, fiancé Johnny Avery and brothers, Cecil Underwood, Bobby Underwood and Mack Underwood.

Survivors include: children, Libby McLemore Willis and husband Doug and Cecil McLemore and wife Lora Ann; grandchildren, Sydney Willis, Eric McLemore, Reid Armatys and wife Alanna; two great-grandchildren, Ramsey and Aurora.
