Mrs. Bobbie Lynn Smith, 69, of Clinton, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 21st with Rev. Jerome Edwards officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 20th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born October 5, 1955 in Sampson County to the late Robert and Mildred Tyler Carr.  She was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She taught at Charles E. Perry elementary school and was a member of Roanoke Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Carlyle Smith and sisters, Janice Carr, Helen Carr, Margie Godwin, and Joyce Warren.

She is survived by her son, Hutch Smith and daughter, Luke Smith; granddaughter, Savannah Smith Holt; grandsons, Joshua Brewington and Kaizen Smith; great-granddaughter, Skylynn Draughon; and sisters, Belinda Hawley, Margaret Huggins and Renee Edwards and husband Jerome.
