Beverly Marlene Bond, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 10-11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Marlene, born January 12, 1954 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Augustus “A. C.” Bond and Bettie “Lib” Elizabeth Hobbs Bond.  Marlene was a graduate of Clinton High School and Sampson Technical College.  She worked in retail sales.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Clem Gibson Bond.

Survivors include sisters Betty Knowles of Clinton, Lola Bond Barber of Raleigh and Cheryl Kay Gibbs of Luray, VA and several nieces and nephews.
