Mrs. Betty Jane Young, 75, of 68 Delway Hwy,  died Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

A Funeral service will be held 11AM,  Monday June 11, 2018 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Merritt and Elder Ronald Tackett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Harrells Cemetery.

Mrs. Young, a native of Logan County, W.V., was the widow of Glen Earl Young and the daughter of the late James Hobert Tackett and Gracie Knipp Tackett. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Gracie Jane Young and 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors are her children: Lee Roy Young, Theresa Johnson, Glenna Norris, Glenn Earl Young, Jr and Neil Anthony Young.  Brothers and sisters: Ronald Tackett, Dennis Tackett, Reba Fransen, Ruth Burress and Virginia Szwaja;  12  grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 -8 Sunday June 10, 2018 at Crumpler- Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home.
