Betty Catherine Marchelletta, 92, formerly of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at White Stone Assisted Living in Greensboro.

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 25th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathon Shattuck officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Betty, born July 4, 1931 in Pennsylvania, to the late James Long and Angeline Martin Long, was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Paul Marchelletta and brothers Boyd, Samuel and Charles Long.

Survivors include: sons, Randall “Randy” Marchelletta and wife Gail and James Marchelletta and wife Karen; grandsons, Paul and Philip Marchelletta; and great-grandson, Vincent Marchelletta.
