Haw River, NC

Betty Earlene Strouth Gaddy Lee, 81 years young, of 4365 Salem Church Road, Haw River NC 27258 passed away peacefully December 15th, 2024 at her home.  She was the wife of Jesse R. Lee and the daughter of John W. and Mary Lacy Hardy Strouth.   Preceded in death by brothers; Lewis Strouth, Adrian Strouth, Alvin Strouth, Leonard Strouth, Gene Autry Strouth, Curtis Strouth, Malcolm Strouth and Ervin Strouth.  Sisters; Helen Fasciola, Evelyn Tolbert, Margaret Hutchins, Janice Wall, Doris Strouth, and Hattie Thelma Strouth.

Survivors include her sisters Peggy Tolbert and Louise Murphy both of Burlington NC. Sons; Dewey Michael Gaddy and wife Darlene Gaddy of Clinton, NC, Donald Lynn Gaddy and wife Tammy Gaddy of Burlington, Johnathon Wayne Gaddy and fiancé Nicole Farmer of Clinton, Jesse Lee Jr and wife Theresa Lee of Four Oaks, NC and Cynthia Lee Novotny and husband of Kentucky. Grandchildren Kaitlynn Pippin, Ashlynn Gaddy, Justin Gaddy, Jessica Lee, Luke Whaley, and Dylan Lee.  Great-Grandchildren: Lizzie Kate Pippin and Emma Pippin.

Family will receive friends at Crumpler & Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville Street, Clinton NC  28328 between 1:00pm and 2:00pm Friday, December 20th. The  Funeral Service will be at Crumpler & Honeycutt at 2:00pm immediately after the visitation. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Clinton NC.
