Ben J. Miller, Jr., 74, 204 Lisbon Street, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, November 8th at Papa Pete’s Family Farm, 2007 Cartertown Road, Clinton.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the Farm.

Ben, born January 21, 1951, in Kentucky, was the son of the late Ben and Edna Miller.  He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.  Ben was one of a kind with an undeniable sense of humor and a love for life. He was a member of Kingdom Place in Lumberton and was an enthusiast of Civil War Reenactments, which he participated in his home state of Kentucky. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Miller of the home, children, Edwin “Eddie” Peterson Miller, Erin Miller (Anthony) and Erica Cowan (Bryan), grandchildren Blake Miller, Blair Miller, Chance Miller, Brooklyn Miller, Lainey Cowan and Lyndi Cowan, and sisters Edith Arms and Flora Sizemore.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC  28607.
