Barbara Michelle Hunter-Brewington, 38, of 2570 Peavine Rd., passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brewington will be Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11 AM at Clinton Community Church, 1901 Sunset Ave., Clinton NC, with Rev. Mark Fields, and Rev. Ricky Burnette officiating. Interment following at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1165 Mt Moriah Church Road, Clinton NC.  The family will receive friends Saturday at Clinton Community Church from 9:30 -10:45 and other times at the home of her in-laws, Billy and Lisa Brewington, 4660 N US Hwy 421, Clinton NC.

Barbara, born June 28, 1987, in Duplin County, was the daughter of the late James H. Hunter and Debra Francine Carter Williams (Edward).  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. James Carter, Mr & Mrs. Roger Neville, Mr. & Mrs. Romie Carter and Mrs. Soronia Mae (Bay) Brewington.   She was a graduate of Midway High School and UNC Pembroke.  Barbara was a dental assistant at Village Family Dental in Eastover.. 

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bradley Brewington; children, Makya Skye Brewington, Braycee Thomas Gibbs and Briggs Lakee Brewington; brothers, Jimmy Hunter and Kent Williams and sisters, Tina Hunter, Samantha Gomez and Ashley Tew and numerous cousins, family and friends.
