Aurora Violeta Lerma, 47, of 268 Old Us 701 Hwy, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, June 26th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Jose Castillo, Jose Garcia and Harol Perez officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 PM – 8 PM, Tuesday, June 25th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

Aurora, born July 23, 1976 in Mexico, was the daughter of Josefina Lerma.  She worked at Belk’s and was a member of the Temple Sinai in Warsaw, NC.  

Survivors include; husband, Abiud Castillo Rios; children, Ashley Merari Castillo (Kenneth) and Miguel Aminadab Castillo; granddaughter, Aria Elizabeth Santana; mother, Josefina Lerma; siblings, Erika Lerma, Carlos Lerma and Stephanie Lerma; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
