Clinton,
Aubrey Washington Crumpler, 88, of 110 Justin Lane, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Southwood Nursing Center.
Funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, September 8th at Clinton Community Church with Pastor Dwight Dunning officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be at 10 AM, Friday in the Clinton City Cemetery. The family will be available at the home, Wednesday, from 11 AM to 7 PM for visitors.
Aubrey, born October 13, 1933 in Sampson County, was the son of the late Hubert Crumpler and Hattie Branch Crumpler. He was a truck driver for Lundy Packing Company and a member of Clinton Community Church. Aubrey was also a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maggie Crumpler and brothers Carl and Payton Crumpler.
Survivors include; son, Aubrey Crumpler of Roseboro; daughter’s, Amanda Crumpler of Clinton and Sonya Willetts and husband Robert of Leland; brother, Harold Crumpler of Georgia; sisters, Hazel McEntire of Texas and Joanna Matthis of Clinton; grandchildren, Peyton Guerrero and husband Anthony and Andrew Willets and wife Stephenie; and four great-grandchildren.
