William Nelson Heath, Jr..  31 of Heath Street died August 17, 2017 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, 208 Sampson St., Clinton, NC, with the Rev. T. R. Miller officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church and at other times at the home of his father at 701 Elizabeth St., Clinton.    

Nelson was a native of Sampson County and son of William Nelson Heath, Sr. and Patricia Outlaw Barbour.  He was a chef by trade.  Nelson was preceded in death by; paternal grandparents, Cuyler and Mary Jane Heath, and maternal grandfather, Ray Outlaw, and  special grandmother, Christine Warren.

He is survived by; parents, William Nelson Heath, Sr and wife Ann Oglesby Heath and Patricia Outlaw Barbour and husband Kevin; sister, Christy Fortune and husband Chris; maternal grandmother, Dianne Outlaw; nephews, Jeremy and Zerik and niece Izzabeth Grace; step-sisters, Kelly Kimbro and husband Brandon ,Carol Tew and Carly Barbour; step-brother, Jacob Barbour; nephew, Bladen and niece Hazelyn;  and his dog Angel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Margaret Heath Missionary Fund, at First United Methodist Church, 308 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC  28328.
