Shelton Thomas Shipp, 77, of 2175 Hobbton Hwy, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Rex Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Grandview Memorial Garden with Rev. Ray Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at 10 AM, Saturday, August 11,  at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, just prior to the service.

Shelton, born in Sampson county in 1941, was the son of the late Thomas Shipp and Kathleen Hughes Shipp.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Stanley.

Survivors include his brother, Doug Shipp, and several cousins.
