I have known Shelton (Snuffy) Caulder since he came aboard the Academy Hospital as a student while I worked in the ENT clinic. We were friends for his entire career and I came in touch occasionally after he then I retired. I always will remember Shelly as being good at everything, always prepared and driven towards his goals. Seeing him go was a shock as I emailed him not long ago. He will be missed but remembered fondly.

Please except my condolence in the loss of your love one. Phil 4:6, 7 will help you receive the peace of God. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. These are wonderful blessings to look forward to knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.

I first met Shelton when he was my "boss" at the Primus clinic for military retirees and dependents in Fayetteville. He was a very pleasant person to deal with. In recent years I have known him as a member of our men's Sunday school class at Rowan Baptist Church, and enjoyed his jovial personality. I sincerely regret that he succumbed to this rare devastating disease. We will miss you Shelton.

Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May our prayers ease the pain of this loss and may God fill your heart with great peace. Your Father may be gone from our sights, but never from our hearts. Everyone from AOS and TPAC are thinking of you an your family!
Those we love don't go away;
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
For death leaves a heartache
No one can heal,
And love leaves a memory
No One can steal.

I am so very sorry to hear of Shelton's passing. I was making plans to visit with him and Carol during our annual trip to North Carolina. Unfortunately the trip had to be cancelled due to an approaching hurricane. Shelton and I were very good friends, graduating high school together, attending Sampson Tech together, and joining the Coast Guard together. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
