Ruby Ann  Engles, 80, of 6512 Faison Hwy, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Rex Hospital.

The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. – 4 P.M., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC  28328.

Ruby, born in 1937 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late John Wesley Lee and Annie Ida Barwick Lee.  She was the former owner of Del & Ruby’s Store and a member and organist for over forty years at Piney Grove Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol McGee.

Survivors include; sister, Jewell Cauthen; niece, Melody Smith; granddaughters, Rita Millen and Naomi Hlavacek; son-in-law, Kyle McGee; grandsons, John Olson and Noah McGee; aunt, Georgia Lee Brewer; and many extended family members.
