Robert Lucas

Mr. Robert Junious Lucas, age 95, of 1558 Brewer Rd. passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at his home with his family by his side. A visitation with the family will be held at 1-2 P.M. Sunday, December 2, at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, with a Graveside service to follow at 3 P.M. in Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 U.S. Hwy. 117 S. Dudley, N.C. Robert, born in Sampson Co. was the son of the late Junious and Mary Lucas and was brother to Lillian and husband Ben Darden, Elease and husband Don Best, Mildred and husband Hubbard Jordan, Leroy Lucas and wife Irene, Vaden Lucas and wife Iris, and Ralph Lucas and wife Edna. He was a lifelong die hard passionate farmer as long as he could mount a tractor and his eyes would let him see well enough. His most valued prize in life was all his family. Robert was a member of Faison United Methodist Church. He is survived by: his son; Nickie Lucas and wife Deborah of Faison; grandchildren: Shannon Williams and husband Brent of Newton Grove, Niles Lucas and wife Tara of Faison, Camaron Bryan and husband Morgan of Holly Springs, seven great-grandchildren: Caleb Lucas, Taylor Lucas, Kinsley Bryan, Eleanora Bryan, Liza Bryan, Lucas Williams and Anna Faith Williams, thirteen nieces and nephews.
