Prentice "Sunny" Roland Jacobs

Mr Prentice Roland “Sunny” Jacobs, 74 of 1301 Indian Town Rd, Clinton NC died Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born December 3, 1943.

Funeral service will be held at 3 P.M., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Holly Grove Holiness Church with the Reverend Steven Jacobs, Reverend Jerry Groves, Deacon Elvis Ammons and Dr. Randy Simmons officiating.  Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Holiness Church Cemetery.

Mr. Jacobs was born in Sampson County to the late Chasie Roland Jacobs and Sarah Leola Emanuel Jacobs.  He was the former owner and operator of Jacob’s Body shop and a member of Holly Grove Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Jacobs, a sister Earlene Hunt, A brother James “Lent” Jacobs. 

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Fay Simmons Jacobs;  children,  Prentice Jacobs (Debbie), Donald, Brad (Christy), Lynn Fields (Mark), Sarah “Sissy” Gutierrez (Rafael) all of Clinton; sisters and brothers, Sandra Hunt (Carlos), Jane Jacobs, Elizabeth Maynor, Carrie Ammons, Glendale Jacobs “Buddy” (Debbie) Billy Jacobs (Ann) Reverend Ricky Jacobs (Linda) of Dudley, NC.; grandchildren Michelle Jacobs (Paul), Trey Jacobs, Jon Jacobs, Junior Arnette, Stevi Jacobs, Derek Jacobs, Chase Jacobs, Hannah Jacobs, Taylor Beasley (Chris), Lexi Fields, Zoe Fields, London Gutierrez, Levi Gutierrez,  ; great-grandchildren, Kai Spaulding, Eli Perez, Lexus, Prentice Jacobs IV. Two special nieces Bobbie Jo Simmons and Yvonne Rackley. 

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30; Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Holly Grove Holiness Church.
